Human Rights Commissioner receives 76 access denial complaints from Ternopil region in 2025

76 complaints regarding violations of the right to access public information were filed with the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights in Ternopil oblast from January 1 to June 13, 2025, as reported by Ivan Verveyko, the chair of the Commissioner's Secreariat, to the Institute of Mass Information's regional representative Iryna Nebesna.

This number of complaints was registered in the digital document management system Megapolis.DocNet.

The Secretariat did not disclose whom most of the complaints were about since it does not record such information.

Instead it was reported that a total of 344 access denial complaints from the oblast have been registered since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

As reported earlier, 120 access denial complaints were filed in Ternopil oblast in 2024.
