Former MasterChef food producer injured in Kyiv strike
Anastasia Dobrynina, former food producer for the STB show MasterChef, was severely injured in the overnight strike on Kyiv on June 17. The young woman is in intensive care, Detector Media reports, citing the press service of the STB TV channel and chef Volodymyr Yaroslavskyi.
Anastasia lived in the building a section of which collapsed as a result of the Russian strike.

“She worked on MasterChef for several seasons as an assistant food producer, and by season 14 she was already a food producer herself. She later started working with Volodymyr as the sous-chef at his venue. As far as we have heard from Volodymyr, Nastya is in intensive care. Her condition is severe, but stable. What is important is that she is alive and conscious,” the press service wrote.
Anastasia’s apartment was destroyed along with part of the building, Yaroslavskyi added.
“Nastya is still in intensive care. She is better, her awareness has improved. […] Nastya is in safe hands now: the hospital provides her with everything she needs, and we sincerely thank the doctors for this. We thank the rescuers and all the caring people who are helping. But she has a very long way ahead of her in terms of recovery. And one thing I know for sure is that Nastya was not left alone,” the chef added.
On the night of June 17, Russian forces launched 440 drones and 32 rockets to strike Odesa, Zaporizhzhia, Chernihiv, Zhytomyr, Kirovohradska, Mykolaiv, and Kyiv oblasts. Most of the missiles were destroyed, but targets were hit in 10 locations and destruction from the fall of downed missiles and debris was recorded in 34 locations.
The Russian strike on Kyiv damaged the apartment of Yevhenia Virlych, chief editor of the Kherson-based media outlet Kavun.City in the early hours of June 17. The apartment of Serhiy Yeremenko, the production presenter for StarLightMedia's SLM Novyny, was also damaged.
